Scottish Aspen website

In partnership with others, Coille Alba is leading a project "Aspen 2020" to restore Aspen to its rightful place in the Scottish landscape. This website provides a forum for gathering and sharing information on Aspen in Scotland. It also offers an online facility to view and record the location of Aspen stands throughout Scotland.

Trees for Life

Trees for Life have been working to restore the Caledonian Forest in an area to the west of Inverness and Loch Ness covering 1000 square miles. As part of this ambitious project, they have focussed much attention on Aspen, and planted many Aspen trees grown in their own nursery.
